Happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!!
This time last year, the two of us were celebrating at a swank, Disney-themed party in Tracy’s basement. Today, we’re ringing in the New Year separately, but we’re celebrating together in spirit!
As you know, we kicked off our birthday celebration yesterday morning, and as we say goodbye to our first full year with the Mouse on our minds, we thought it would be fun to look back at the top six stories that you loved in 2012 (as told by our friends at Google Analytics):
1. Five Reasons I’ll Return to Knoebels
Along with Becky and Sarah, we visited the happiest place in Central Pennsylvania, and Melissa wrote a quick post listing the things we loved about the quaint, family-owned amusement mecca. We can’t wait to go back this summer!

2. Jambo House vs. Kidani Village
Melissa actually expected this wildly popular post, written by Tracy in April, to be number one for the year! MotM readers visit this post over and over, brushing up on the finer details of the two lodges that make up the Animal Kingdom resort.
3. Review: Breakfast at Pizzafari
Another of Tracy’s pieces, this one from May and detailing her visit to Pizzafari in the early morning hours. We’ve both always wanted to try this breakfast spot, so it’s not surprising that so many others are interested to learn more.
4. An Evening Overlooking the Magic Kingdom
A guest post by Running at Disney‘s Sarah, this popular post outlines an evening at the California Grill atop the Contemporary Resort. Though the restaurant is not not one of Melissa’s favorites, it’s a big winner with readers.

After trying a cupcake from the new treat tent in Storybook Circus, Melissa hurried home to write a review … and readers ate it up! (She did, too. It was a totally delicious cupcake.)

Happy New Year and Congratulations on your first year! Mouse on the Mind has become a regular site to check at least weekly (usually more often). I enjoy your fun insight into all things Disney and the chance to fondly remember my recent trip to the Magic Kingdom (as well as the new ideas for planning my next venture to central Florida – whenever that might be). I keep recommending your site to friends (and strangers) I know are heading to Disney territory. Looking forward to another 52 weeks!
