Saturday Something: 3 Star Wars Things

Until December 2015, I hadn’t seen a single Star Wars movie straight through. It’s true. I let Dan take me to see The Force Awakens, and I so enjoyed it that I agreed to watch the original trilogy. And the prequels. And I really enjoyed them, as well. (For proof, you can see my Star Wars tweet stories here!)

So, I am a new Star Wars fan, and as such, I now see The Force wherever I go. And recently, I saw three awesome Star Wars things that I really loved, so here they are:

X-Wing Star Blanket

This awesome pair of blankets (in adult and kid sized) was designed by MJ (of MJ’s Off The Hook Designs), and you can get the pattern on Ravelry. I don’t crochet, which is a bummer. But if anyone sees them for sale on Etsy, let me know!

Death Star Globe

Alex, also known as The Interior DIYer, made this awesome stunner for her husband’s birthday. Her instructions are pretty detailed, so I could probably whip this one out myself … but then I’d have to figure out where to put it …

Death Star Fire Pit

Here’s one we can actually buy on Etsy! (Although I don’t have a backyard and it’s quite a bit out of my price range …) I know it’s the second Death Star, so it’s supposed to look unfinished … but I just love how awesome it looks all lit up and glowing, like fiery burning wreckage.

Which of these Star Wars crafts do you love best? Let us know in the comments!
