Weekly Round Up: September 17

Selfie in Gaston's Chair Happy Wednesday! Sorry this is a day late and a bit short, but I am struggling with the most crushing bout of post-trip blues … it stinks, people!

But yes! I did make a quick trip down to Orlando this past weekend, and I had a ton of fun even though it was really hot and really dry. Yucky weather, to be sure.

Despite that, Dan and I had a great time at La Cava del Tequila’s Patron Party. We’ll be sharing photos and impressions later this week (or early next week), but let me say this: their new single barrel tequila is so smooth. You will love it.

I was also in town for the news we all knew was coming: Maelstrom is closing its doors to make way for a Frozen attraction. I was lucky enough to take one last go-round, and my ship stalled out in the oil rig room, amid thunder, lightning and rain effects. It seemed like a fitting farewell to my second favorite attraction in EPCOT.
