Weekly Round Up: May 6

I was super sad to hear about the passing of Eddie Valiant himself, the masterful Bob Hoskins last week. I’m sure you were, too: He and Roger Rabbit played such a huge role in my transition from childhood into adulthood. If you haven’t seen (or don’t appreciate) what went into creating the film, check out this amazing video of Hoskins’ scenes before and after the film’s effects were added:

But in happier news, Disney’s Hollywood Studios celebrated its 25th birthday this week! One of my best Disney memories happened in that Park, and three of my favorite Disney bloggers also shared their favorite DHS things. I’ve linked them below, so keep reading!

And, finally, next week is the big Kill Refurb Marry you’ve all been waiting for: Disney Princesses! Tell your mom. Tell your friends. Tell your mailman. It’s going to be awesome.

One Little Spark of Inspiration
Emma from A Pinch of Pixie Dust offers up some super cute ways to personalize your MagicBand. Love it! Especially the washi tape.

Susana uncovered a real-life Up house (and its litigious back story) on The Mary Sue.

Sarah, who’s Eating WDW, was lucky enough to enjoy dinner at Markham’s in Disney’s Golden Oak. It all looks delicious! (And since it was too big to fit in one post, don’t miss Part Two!)

I am missing WDW so much … and totally loving these photos from the boys at Disney Hipster Blog.

Emma, who does everything with A Pinch of Pixie Dust, gets all up in the Paradise Pier Hotel’s Club Level. (Jelly!)

Hooray for Hollywood
Estelle from This Happy Place Blog shares her wishes for DHS on its 25th birthday.

Dan shares his best and brightest photos from DHS on At Disney Again.

Melissa, who’s always Rolling with the Magic, shares a few of her favorite things from the Birthday Park.
