Weekly Round Up: May 26

Mickey salutes America Happy day-after Memorial Day! I hope you all had a great weekend–I sure did.

Friday night, we caught the world premiere of Modern Ruin with Estelle and James from This Happy Place Blog, and then Saturday, we saw Tomorrowland with the Disney Hipster Podcast team (and some other awesome folks). Together, the two films gave me a lot to think about re: futurism and Disney and the World’s Fair. I’ll definitely be sharing my thoughts on that later this week.

Otherwise, Dan and I stuck pretty close to home, although we did visit a couple of farmer’s markets and a carnival/fundraiser for our local National Guard post. We did a lot of reading, and we fired up our tiny tabletop charcoal grill to cook some sweet corn. Such a much needed, relaaaaahhxing long weekend.
