Weekly Round Up: May 10

IMG_292195Happy Tuesday!

I had a great weekend–spent Saturday with my youngest, sweetest cousins and Sunday watching my niece play lacrosse. (I couldn’t believe how good they are in elementary school.) The awesome Disney balloon princess belonged to my cousins … they were incredibly cool!

Disney Springs Town Center opened this weekend … and it looks like a great outdoor mall! Morimoto Street Food also opened this weekend, and I’m actually pretty excited about that. I’ve got a pretty good meh … shrug going on with regard to Disney this week. I guess I’m still upset about the cancellation of the Muppets.

What are you up to? And what Disney news has you interested?

One Little Spark of Inspiration
Becky, who wants to add some Disney In Your Day, wonders what kind of blogger Walt Disney would have been.

Tammy lists the mistakes she’s made on Disney Cruise Line for Touring Plans Blog. Lots of good tips here!

Maddy, who writes on The Mary Sue, explores the queer historical context of The Little Mermaid. This is a little off-the-beaten, but it’s absolutely fascinating.

On Disney Hipster Blog, Andrew shares amazing breaking news: day-glo plastic cheese is back! (And at one of my favorite quick service spots!)

Mmm … Ryan shared one of my favorite Disney sips on Main Street Gazette.
