Weekly Round Up: March 6

We sniffed out some great posts for you

We are still recovering from our whirlwind tour of The World–and One More Disney Day–last week, but we’ve been plenty busy … reading and writing a whole slew of new stories just for you!

Mouse on the Mind on the Web
Melissa Sue wrote about the Meadow Recreation Area at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for Disney Food Blog.

In The Affordable Mouse‘s Thrifty Thursday column, she shared a secret charge on your bill at San Angel Inn.

And, as The Disney Blog‘s television columnist, Melissa Sue recapped the fifth episode of The River.

Tracy has been busy, writing about her recent cruise experience on The Suitcase Scholar, including how to pick the best cruise line for you, reconciling your feelings about traveling in third world countries, and wondering if cruising is right for her.

On her “other” blog, Existential Midlife Twitch, Tracy wrote about months eight and nine of her career break.

In Memory of Robert Sherman
We were so sad to hear about the loss of Disney legend Robert Sherman. While we don’t have the words to express how fully Sherman’s work is threaded through our lives, Michael from Progress City USA does a pretty good job here.

Our Favorites This Week
This Happy Place Blog is back after a brief hiatus. Love the new look!

WDW Solo Meets introduced Disney Dining Madness on Twitter. Melissa’s been voting all week … have you?

We were both gobsmacked by Greg’s photo of Cinderella Castle on The Disney Obsession. Absolutely beautiful.

Ridge from Growing Up Disney, who Melissa had the pleasure of meeting during One More Disney Day, wrote a great post about a lazy lunch at Olivia’s at Old Key West.

While we were busy celebrating One More Disney Day, Shane and the folks at Parkeology were enjoying One More Parkeology Day. Sorry we missed it!

We’d like to pre-order two of Richard Terpstra’s latest Retro 71 tee-shirt design, please.

Another great photo over on Magical Trash this week. We love how Adam appreciated irony, even as a kid. Waste, please!
