It’s almost August, and I have some super cool news: all month, Mouse on the Mind will be highlighting Disney at night! We’re working with some of your favorite bloggers and our greatest friends to bring you tales of Disney after dark: where to go, what to do and what not to miss. If you’re interested in contributing, e-mail Melissa@MouseontheMind.com.
Another awesome and true fact: I’ll be in Disney World during Dapper Day 2012!! I am so flippin exciting. I have to start thinking about what I am going to wear. And about how I am going to convince my husband to join me in dressing up in the Florida heat. Seriously. This is very, very exciting news!!
Have any of you ever participated in Dapper Day?? Tell us about your experiences in the comments below.
Our Favorites This Week
Shane at Parkeology totally spoiled the blinking wallpaper effect in the Haunted Mansion. (And made me laugh with his references to The Dark Knight.)
It’s official: Narcoossee’s is the most potentially expensive DDP-friendly restaurant (and my second favorite Disney resort eatery). Erin did the Disney math on Disney Food Blog.
Eating WDW‘s Sarah had a date with Yehaa Bob, and she had the shrimp. I can’t wait!! I have my own date with the piano man in just about 45 days! She also had dinner at Boatwright’s Dining Hall, a favorite of mine.
Melissa wrote about the Joy of Tea stand in Epcot on Disney on Wheels. I am adding this to my next touring plan! I’ve been meaning to try the strawberry red bean ice cream.
Fellow DVCers take note: Sarah from Running at Disney wrote about her experience at Vero Beach’s Green Cabin Room.
For the westerners among us, Kent reviewed Cozy Cone Motel’s offerings on Disney Food Blog. Honestly: if that doesn’t make you want to check out CarsLand, I don’t know what will.
If you like free stuff, head over to The Best Friends Guide and enter to win a hand-embellished Cinderella moleskin notebook. Very cool!
Everything WDW‘s George explores tricks used in Disney Parks when the Imagineers don’t want you to see something.
Need a laugh? Head over to Spins the World for some Disney funnies.
