Since I last wrote one of these, Daniel J. and I spent the week leading up to Thanksgiving in central Florida, including a couple of days at Disney World–and we made sure to get in one last viewing of Captain EO.
I’ll definitely be sharing stories of our adventures, but before we get to that, the countdown to Christmas is on! Yesterday, I posted my first holiday-inspired story, and I’m planning to write two or three a week from now until Santa makes his way down my chimney.
In addition to holiday-themed posts, you can also expect some details about Animal Kingdom construction, website and podcast recommendations and some more stories from our cruise this past July. I know last week was quiet here, but I’ll be back in full force in the coming weeks, for sure. I hope you’ll join me for the holiday festivities as well as everything else I’m working on.
What are you up to? And what Disney news has you interested?
One Little Spark of Inspiration
Lindsay, a guest writer on Sparkly Ever After, has me drooling with tales of Minnie’s Holiday Dine.
Jen does a quick fly-by of Hangar Bar at Disney Springs and shares her photos on EPBOT. (Stay tuned … my review will be up in a couple of weeks!)
On The Simple Things, Jess and her friends don their best Guardians cosplay for the Avengers Half Marathon. Cute!
Andrew, one of the lads behind Disney Hipster Blog, shares some adorably unique signage from La Hacienda.
Lee shares a bit of (slightly creepy) Disneyana on Disney Nouns.
It’s All “Good”
My review of The Good Dinosaur will be up on Thursday. But in the meantime, check out this review by Kristy, who writes for Pajiba. She totally hits on how this movie made me feel: Anxious. Definitely plug in to her insights on this one if you haven’t seen it yet (or even if you have–it may help put your reaction into context).
