Oh my! It has been such a long time since I’ve done one of these!! 41 days, to be exact! A lot has happened in the intervening weeks, obviously. Not the least of which was my amazing Disney Cruise with Dan from At Disney Again.

But I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention a weekend getaway to Pennsylvania and a week of touristing around my hometown with the #TouringPlants (aka Jon, Amy and their lovely family). So many good times this summer … and I am really sad that it’s coming to a close (although I’m equally determined to make this fall just as awesome).

The Disney sphere keeps on turning. I’ve been pleased to read that you can finally opt out of getting a new MagicBand for every trip you take to Disney World. After my last trip, I deactivated and trashed a bunch of my Bands, so now I just have a complete color set. I like the idea that I can replace them as-needed (as they get damaged or scuffed) instead of constantly collecting new ones.

What are you up to? And what piece of Disney news piqued your interest this past month? Tell me about it!

One Little Spark of Inspiration
Turkey Leg Jeff, the man behind (duh) The Turkey Leg Jeff Blog, wrote a brilliant piece of creative nonfiction (or is it) about the Bay Lake Society Fight Club. (It’s just as loony and wonderful as it sounds.)

Emma shared the details of her amazing trip to Marceline on A Pinch of Pixie Dust.

Nicole, who lives life Sparkly Ever After, rocks out with Morris Mulch in Hollywood Studios.

Rebecca found a cool link between a Disney Channel favorite and Back to the Future. Find out more on Disney With Me.

Becky, who wants to add a little Disney In Your Day, shared a fun take on her Core Memories.

Sarah chowed down at Disney’s newest gelato spot and shared the noms on Eating WDW.

Jen, who’s also known as EPBOT, wrote the definitive review of Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Lisa and her family tried the new breakfast at Be Our Guest and shared their thoughts on Home Is Where The Mouse Is.
