You may have noticed that Flower and Garden Week sort of … fizzled. I feel like a lot of things around here are fizzling lately here at Mouse on the Mind. I could offer lots of excuses. But the truth is, I am burnt out.
Something has to change. So the long and short of it is this: instead of over promising and under delivering, I’m just … not going to! Going forward, I’ll update the blog as the mood strikes me with what strikes me. And make no promises in the process.
I’m going to stop thinking of this as a chore. I am going to start enjoying what I’m writing instead of feeling rushed to put something up on an imagined schedule. (Because I already have one job. And I don’t need another.)
Things are going to get a little more organic and a little more sporadic here on my little slice of the Internet. But I think we’ll all be happier for it.
