Quick Bite: Ice Cream Martini

About a year ago, L’Artisan des Glaces introduced something that … well, it sort of blew my mind. Look, I like to put liquor in my ice cream. It’s well established. So let’s just agree that the Ice Cream Martini is an awesome EPCOT innovation and move on.

Soon after ice cream + alcohol was announced, I took the first opportunity to head to EPCOT and have myself a big, ole (boozy) snack.

What you see there is a scoop of pistachio ice cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous pour of whipped cream vodka. Yum!

I’ll tell you: I like  L’Artisan des Glaces, but I hate that it’s so small. And cramped. And there’s no where to eat your ice cream. So I took mine over to the Les Halles dining room. And since EPCOT is in Florida, where it’s totally disgustingly hot in August, by the time I walked down the block, my ice cream was already melting.

But it was still delicious. And when I was done with my ice cream, there was a nicely creamy shot still left in the bottom. Thanks, France Pavilion!
