We’re All Superheros Here

Mission MarvelWhat a way to spend a day of their summer vacation … Phineas and Ferb (and Perry and even Candace!) join Marvel’s New Avengers to help save the day when Dr. D’s latest -inator strips the superheros of their powers. The 44 minutes breeze by in highly entertaining and highly amusing fashion as befits the stepbrothers and their wacky friends.

Mission Marvel DVDBut, of course, if you’re any kind of nerd at all, you’ve likely already seen the episode, so what YOU want to know about are the things that make Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel worth the $15 … the Special Features! In addition to Mission Marvel, the DVD also includes 6 previously-unreleased additional episodes (90 minutes of content) from season 4.

The extra episodes are fun, but what you really want is the paper goods wrapped up with this delicious DVD morsel. Inside, you’ll find a 12-page comic book featuring an interview with the P&F creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh as well as Marvel VP of Animation Cort Lane.

Following the interview, you’ll find an original comic called “Double Agent Danger” featuring Agent P. And attached to THAT, you’ll find a poster featuring one of three special Mission Marvel posters. Agent P in his Mission Marvel costume is the cutest, for sure!

At the end of the day, this DVD is super fun and totally worth the cost of admission. If you have a little guy in your life (and even if you don’t), throw it in your Amazon shopping cart!
