Melissa Sue and I owe a great debt to the PassPorter forums. After all, that’s where we met. And we still think that it’s the best darn Disney forum on the web (and that the PassPorter books are the best darn Disney planning tools ever).
By participating in the forums, we not only get to give and take excellent trip planning advice, but we feel as though we have made actual friends, all of whom understand and share our love for everything Disney. In this way, we feel that the PassPorter community is truly magical.
Of course, there is something better than talking about Disney World in an online forum–and that’s getting together in actual Disney World. And so, on our upcoming Leap Day Week trip, Mouse on the Mind is hosting an official PassPorter meetup.
The plan is to get together for a little while on the eve of the 24-hour-Leap-Day-Madness and get to know each other in real life. So if you’re going to be in Walt Disney World on what should be the last day in February, join us.
Here’s the plan:
When: Tuesday, February 28, at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Epcot’s World Showcase, by the bandstand in the English garden in the rear of the UK pavilion.
What: A casual meetup with the option of counter service fish and chips (mmm…fish and chips…)
If you’re not a member of PassPorter yet, that’s ok–it’s free and easy to join. Just click here to register and then follow this link to our meet and greet announcement. We’d love to see a great turnout!
