You are probably familiar with the popular parlor game, Kill Boff Marry, where given the choice between three people, you must decide which you’d murder, sleep with and spend the rest of your life with.
Estelle from This Happy Place Blog and I decided to transform the game into a WDW-themed version called Kill Refurb Marry. Our little game grew in popularity, and a few months ago, we decided to add a little Blog Hop action to the game so we can all link up!
This is the seventeenth Kill Refurb Marry Blog Hop! You can check out their links on this month’s the Kill Refurb Marry homepage. This month, we’re sounding off on Disney sidekicks. Enjoy!
Get Rid Of: The Triplets from Brave
Since Harris, Hubert and Hamish are small children, I wasn’t quite comfortable with making this one a Kill, but the sentiment is the same. They’re just awful, gross troublemakers. Sure, they help Merida save the day, but it would certainly be a lot easier–in general–if they weren’t literally the worst.
Honorable Mention: Ray, from The Princess and the Frog. I really just don’t like this guy. I know he’s supposed to be romantic and wonderful … I just don’t like him. And, of course, he does get killed. So this one is a little on-the-nose.
Refurb: Remy, from Ratatouille
This is kind of an odd one. I’ll bet you’re thinking, ‘what problem could she have with Remy?’ The answer: None. I love him. What I have a problem with is that he’s considered a Sidekick. Linguini is a prat, and I’ve never thought of Ratatouille as his movie.
Marry: Gus, Jaques and The Other Mice, from Cinderella
They’re cute! And they’re useful: They help Cindy wash up and prepare for the day. They help with the chores. And they even design killer outfits. As sidekicks go, I love these guys. I don’t even mind that they’re small and beady eyed. (Or small and sleepy-eyed, as the case may be.)
