You know that super fun game, Kill Boff Marry? Estelle from This Happy Place Blog and I play a WDW-themed version called Kill Refurb Marry on the second Wednesday of every month. And now we’ve invited all of YOU to play along. In fact, you can see a full list of all of the bloggers who’re participating this month.
This is the fifteenth Kill Refurb Marry Blog Hop! Sweet Sixteen is just around the corner! This month we’re powering up for the coming holiday season at Disney Coffee Spots.
Kill: TTC Coffee Stand
Who goes here? I mean, honestly: Now that there’s a bona fide Starbucks in both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot and there’s decent coffee at all of the resorts … who’s stopping here to get coffee and a pastry? I feel sorry for that person. Because the coffee here is always burnt. And the pastries are mostly lackluster and a little stale. It’s not a fun place to be. Especially not before the sun has risen. And definitely not once the crowds start baring down on the ferry boat.
Refurb: Kusafiri Coffee Shop
This tiny spot in Animal Kingdom’s Harambe Village is so perfectly perfect, almost hidden between Dawa Bar and Kilimanjaro Safaris. But that’s part of the problem! It’s tiny–basically just a quick service window with a cash register out front. It should be bigger! And offer more, fresh items. Because I love nothing more than stopping here on a hot day after a long morning of traipsing around the Park for an iced coffee with a shot of Amarula Cream liquor. And it would be nice if I could get a hot, fresh sweet roll to go with it.
Marry: Fountain View
Nothing wrong with this. In fact, pretty much everything about it is perfect. The design is lovely. The food and drink are delish. And the fountains are right outside, just waiting for you to enjoy the show with a beverage in hand. I doooooooo, pretty Starbucks.
