Kill, Refurb, Marry: 2014 Food & Wine

This is the thirteenth Kill Refurb Marry Blog Hop! Our baby is almost all grown up! This month we’re snacking our way through the 2014 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Kill: South Korea

South Korea Food and Wine Booth (Eating WDW)Let’s get honest: I’ve never ever ever eaten a single thing from this booth that I’ve enjoyed. I just can’t get into eating fermented foods in the hot Florida sun. And that damn lettuce wrap … could they even try to come up with something new? I know less than nothing about South Korean cuisine, but there just has to be something worth eating that isn’t kimchi. Doesn’t there?

Bonus Kill: Is there anything worse than the Ireland Booth? The food is lackluster and unchanging. That gooey, tasteless meat pie. The cheese that always comes out warm and sweating. And the warm pudding. Blergh. Next year, quietly kill it. And just put the Scotland booth in its place. No one will complain.

Refurb: The Refreshment Coolpost

Coolpost (Eating WDW)What. The. Heck. My favorite sip from last year’s Food and Wine Guinea Pig adventure was The Brown Elephant. I was heartbroken when I realized the cocktail wasn’t available year-round. And I am damn near inconsolable now that I know I can’t have one during my upcoming Food & Wine trip. What gives, Disney? I don’t need fro yo. I need sweet, sweet creamy liqueur!

Marry: Brazil

Brazil Food and Wine Booth ( tell the truth, I haven’t eaten at this year’s incarnation of the Brazil booth, but that hardly matters. Last year, the pork belly was absolutely to die. And the rest of the items on this year’s menu look just as good and totally up my alley: white fish with coconut lime sauce? Yes! Brazilian cheese bread? Yuuuuummmm. Coconut candies? Om the noms. I can’t wait to get to EPCOT and try all of these awesome, delicious dishes.
