How and why I was there … those facts are immaterial to the story. But I was fortunate enough to find myself in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on a delightfully cool and breezy September evening. I headed back and to the right, down Sunset Boulevard.
I spent some time snapping photos before I stopped to grab a pizza and salad from Catalina Eddie’s at the Sunset Ranch Market. I just love it there–dining in the open air, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of some of the Park’s most popular rides. You can’t beat DHS at night.
As I headed up to the condiment bar to grab some napkins, I happened to stop to talk to a Cast Member about the amazing Sunset Ranch uniforms. They’re blue skorts, and I couldn’t love them any more. If I could take home one Disney World costume, I think that would be it.
I guess I made an impression on her because, about ten minutes later, as I was wrapping up my meal, she walked over to my table and handed me a free Mickey Bar. Just to pass on a little touch of magic.
And it was good.
