You know the drill: I am pants-wettingly excited to try all of the delicious new and old favorite food finds at this year’s Epcot International Food and Wine … but since I am not made of money (and I only have two days in WDW during F&W), I need to be selective. So I am obsessing like a mofo and sharing all of my crazy Food and Wine orders with you. Get ready to get hungry! YUM!
Dessert & Champagne Booth
This is kind of the best country ever, isn’t it?! I wish I could visit in real life. I’ve enjoyed their offerings in the past, and this year, I will absolutely be back. Because you can’t say Chocolate Orange Cupcake, Hazelnut Chocolate Cheesecake and Cherry Pistachio Mousse without causing me to look for the nearest line. Also? FROZEN S’MORES.
Craft Beers Booth
True fact about me: I am not much of a beer drinker. I feel like it is too heavy: it just sits in my stomach, sloshing about. So I don’t drink a ton of beer, and I rarely ever drink beer in Disney World. (Imagine trying to skip through the most magical place on earth with a belly full of liquid!) I’m gonna let you guys play through on this one.
Every year, I rush to this booth, thinking: mashed potatoes, chocolate cake, cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese! But every year, I am disappointed. So disappointed that I never even write about it. Not one word on this blog about Ireland. This year, I am going to sit out the Emerald Isle.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe this little spot has ever been part of the Festival before. And for that reason alone, I want to check it out! But it gets better because the food is actually sort of baller. I will absolutely be ordering up some pineapple fritters. And for dessert? (After all of my other dessert, of course!) Dole Whip topped with Crème de Cacao … it’s a CHOCOLATE COVERED PINEAPPLE in a cup!! I just died and went to tropical fruit heaven.
