Inspired by the Internet: Disney Haiku

I was at WDW this weekend. Two days. Two resorts. Three parks. Lots of sweat. But because of my hectic schedule of smashing the patriarchy, working a full time job and traveling, I didn’t get a chance to write anything. So today I’m bringing you TWO different sets of Disney haiku, brought to us by Twitter.

That’s right: I said two. The first is from last year. Literally. March 2016, when Disney Twitter turned their poetry stylings on Disney World, as directed by Touring Plans Blog.

Then, just a couple of weeks ago, Disney Twitter got poetic once again (what is it with early spring and poems?), this time focusing their attention on Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Can I be honest for a second? I really don’t understand haikus. They’re supposed to be about nature, I know that. But what is nature, really? And I think they’re supposed to illustrate opposing viewpoints? I don’t know. I haven’t been in high school for over a decade. But what’s more contentious than our love-hate relationship with Disney’s Hollywood Studios? Feels appropriate.
