With my ex-husband in Epcot

Got The Mouse on your mind? I do, too!

My name is Melissa Sue, and I’m just a writer and nerd looking to share my love of the Vacation Kingdom with the world.

With help from my friends and awesome contributors, I blog about the pursuit of Disney magic, providing reviews and trip-planning tips along with plenty of my own memories.

I began visiting Disney World when I was six and have fond memories of the original Journey into Imagination. My favorite Disney characters are Elliott and Figment … and I’m terrified of brazen Epcot squirrels. My Disney Must-Dos (sorry, Stacey) are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Expedition Everest, Tower of Terror and visiting the lowland gorillas. My ultimate Disney dream is to ride Splash Mountain on both coasts in the same day.

In 2010, I bought my own piece of the magic with Disney Vacation Club points at Bay Lake Tower, and I’m already plotting to buy more points at Old Key West. A contributor to Disney Food Blog, I love exploring new Disney restaurants even more than I love exploring Disney World resort hotels (or … better yet … DCL ships!).

When I’m not eating (or dreaming about) Disney’s signature cheese plates, I enjoy reading, especially science fiction and historical non-fiction. As a child, my dream job was “next great American novelist,” and I believe that hobby blogger is the 21st novelist.
