Artisan Cheese Selection
Country of Origin:
Three delicious cheeses (Thomasville Tome Sweet Gras Dairy, Le Delice de Bourgogne Lincet, and Chevre Affine Wyngaard Kaas) paired with honey, cranberries and figs.
Status in 2012:
There will be an artisan cheese trio at this year’s festival, but they’ll be all new cheeses!
In the great land of Cheese, I enjoyed the cheese plate. The Wyngaard Chèvre Affiné was served with honey, but it went quite well with the sesame crackers included with the dish. It was our least favorite of the three. In the middle was the Thomasville Tomme, a raw aged cow’s milk cheese. It was served with cranberries and was quite delicious. Finally, the Délice de Bourgogne was a little slice of heaven. It came with sesame crackers, but I think it tasted even better with the honey. Overall, this was a huge winner, and I can’t wait to try the 2012 version!
